EHI Hosts Local CBOs for Capacity-Building Session

The Delaware Equitable Hiring Initiative’s project partner Cara Plus took its signature Workforce Development Solutions Lab on the road! In August, Cara Plus, the national expansion arm of Chicago-based workforce nonprofit Cara Collective, provided capacity-building support to ten individuals across four organizations (Network Connect, Tech Impact, Food Bank of DE, Northeast CDC) in Wilmington, DE. To date, Cara Plus has trained more than 100 organizations across the country from more than 25 states.

This milestone deepens and solidifies EHI’s work to build a local ecosystem of community partners. Together, we’re equipping CBOs with tools to identify, empower, and uplift overlooked talent through job readiness training and other support services.
